Two-wheeler rider sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Coimbatore Government Hospital by 108 ambulance.
Coimbatore: Kathirvelu (26), a labourer from Avinashi Rayarpalayam area in Tirupur district was returning to Pollachi on a two-wheeler from Avinashi on Sunday. While approaching Kinathukadavu near Tamaraikulam, a speeding Eicher van collided with his two-wheeler.
Kathirvelu fractured his leg and sustained serious injuries in the collision. Passers-by rescued him and rushed him to the Coimbatore Government Hospital by 108 ambulance. He was administered first-aid at GH and later admitted to a private hospital for further treatment. The Kinathukadavu police have registered a case and are investigating.
