Coimbatore: The Coimbatore district has recently been upgraded to four municipalities namely Gudalur, Karamadai, Karumathampatti and Madukkarai.
Coimbatore District Collector G S Sameeran released the list of polling booths, ward numbers and voters for these four upgraded municipalities.
Accordingly, these four municipalities together have a total electorate of 1,30,134 voters with 159 polling stations and 108 wards.
Gudalur Municipality: 27 wards, 49 polling stations, 40,393 voters.
Karamadai Municipality: 27 wards, 39 polling booths, 30,747 voters.
Karumathampatti Municipality: 27 wards, 36 polling stations, 30,270 voters.
Madukkarai Municipality: 27 wards, 35 polling stations, 28,724 voters.
Currently, there are a total of seven municipalities in Coimbatore, including upgraded municipalities.
