Coimbatore: The Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara inspected the ongoing construction works at Corporation Middle school at an outlay of ₹ 59 crores on Monday.
Four additional classrooms at 4,900 sq. ft., laboratories, and toilets are built on the first floor at the Corporation Middle School in Coimbatore, were personally inspected by the Corporation Commissioner Raja Gopal Sunkara on Monday. He insisted the engineers finish the works expeditiously and to better standards.
The Park maintenance works at Ilango Nagar under the Amruth Project were studied following which the Commissioner inquired of the garbage disposed of the houses and advised the public to always dispose waste by grading them into biodegradable and non-biodegradable. He also directed the corporation engineers to make speedy plans to construct rainwater canals in Ilango Nagar.
The Commissioner further instructed the Corporation engineers to immediately prepare the project value for the renovation of 885 damaged roads in the golden road area from Avinashi road to Viriyampalayam.
Assistant Commissioner East Zone Mariselvi, Assistant Executive Engineer Sundarrajan, Assistant Engineer Kumar, Regional Health Officer Muruga, Health Inspector Gunasekaran and Corporation officials were present.
