Tragically, children are more susceptible to dengue fever than adults. On average, 20 people per day are visiting the government hospital. Currently, 63 people are being treated for dengue fever in hospital in the city.
Health officials said, "With the help of health workers, door-to-door inspection, clearing unnecessary water storage containers, mosquito prevention medicines are being sprinkled and mixed in water tanks and awareness to prevent stagnant water are being done.”
