Coimbatore: The Additional Chief Secretary, Shiv Das Meena inspected the ongoing works of integrated bus terminal constructed in Vellalore.
The Integrated Bus Terminal is constructed in Vellalore at the outlay of ₹ 168 crores, on behalf of the corporation, was personally inspected by the Additional Chief Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Secretary Shiv Das Meena on Sunday.
He then inspected the Sewage Treatment Plant and Kurichi Kuniyamuttur Underground Sewer Project. He also directed the engineers to complete the construction work expeditiously.
Later, he personally visited the work being carried out by grading biomining of biomining at Vellalore garbage dump and instructed the officials to restore 68 acres of stagnant old garbage within the project period.
Municipal Administrative Director Ponniah, Corporation Commissioner Rajagopal Sunkara, Deputy Commissioner Sharmila, Executive Engineer Ramaswamy, Tamil Nadu Water Supply and Drainage Board Chief Engineer Senguttavan, Assistant Commissioner of Southern Region Annadurai Corporation executive engineer and officials were present during the survey.
