Coimbatore: In Coimbatore, 5 medical teams have been appointed to treat coronavirus patients at home. Daily coronavirus exposure in the Coimbatore city area currently exceeds 300. Thus, the district and corporation administration are taking various precautionary measures to control the spread of infection.
As part of this, those tested positive for coronavirus are treated at home since yesterday. Following this, Corporation Commissioner Rajagopal Sunkara personally visited and inspected the treatment of patients at their homes in the Racecourse area. Municipal Corporation Urban Officer Satish Kumar and Assistant Urban Health Officer Vasant Divakar were present. According to a health official, medical teams have been appointed to isolate and treat those who have been diagnosed with coronavirus in their homes in the Coimbatore area.
A medical committee has been appointed for each of the 5 zones in the corporation. The team will consist of a doctor and a nurse. The medical team will visit the home of those who have been diagnosed with the coronavirus, test and examine their condition. This will ensure that there is no shortage of hospital beds.

Medication will be provided if required. These works are also being monitored through the Integrated Control Center at the Kalaiarangam, RS Puram.
