Peelamedu police are investigating a case filed against Karthik for producing fake documents, obtaining a bank loan, purchasing a car and cheating without repaying the money.
Coimbatore: State Bank of India Regional Manager Inbarasu (46) has lodged a complaint with the Peelamedu Police at Nehru Nagar, Kalapatti Road, Coimbatore.
According to the complaint, a person named Karthik from Peelamedu area had submitted fake documents in 2016 and obtained a loan of five lakh rupees from a bank. With that money, he purchased a car in Salem.
He also drove the car with a fake number plate without registering it properly. He has also not repaid the loan taken from the bank. He has been contacted by the bank several times but, has not given a responsible answer. The complaint states that action should be taken against him.
