The District Corporation Commissioner has informed that five medical teams have been formed in the city under the Home Triage to treat the coronavirus patients isolated at their houses.

The home isolated coronavirus patients Race Course area were provided treatments at their doorstep and the Commissioner and Special Officer of the Corporation, Raja Gopal Sunkara, personally visited and inspected the works.
Five medical teams have been formed to treat the coronavirus patients at home in Coimbatore. These five medical teams will be attending people in 5 zones at the rate of one team of 1 doctor and 1 nurse.

The team of doctors and nurses will visit patients wearing PPE kits and will provide necessary medical advice to those who are isolated at home. The team will provide treatment of fever, and will check oxygen levels of patients. These works will be monitored through integrated command and control center set up at the R.S.Puram Auditorium.
Corporation welfare officer Sathish Kumar and assistant welfare officer Vasanth Diwakar were present during the inspection.
