The applications for the available 48 vacancies in the home guard department in the city were received in the recruitment camp organized on Thursday at the Municipal Armed Forces ground in the city.
Coimbatore: A recruitment camp for the vacancies in the home guard department was held in Coimbatore in which, 50 applications were received for the 48 vacancies.
Applications were invited for filling up the 48 vacancies in Coimbatore City Home Guard. Under the 48 vacancies, 37-men and 11-women jobs are vacant and the applicants underwent a physical fitness test at the Municipal Armed Forces Ground, Papanaickenpalayam on Thursday.
Out of this, applications of 50 candidates, 39-men and 11-women, were accepted and the fitness test was conducted for them. Verification of certificates, physical measurement, was conducted for the candidates who appeared for the examination.
