Based on the instructions of Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation (CCMC) Commissioner, Raja Gopal Sunkara, Corporation officials inspected Oppanakara Street, at Town Hall in Coimbatore on Wednesday. The officials imposed penalties on all those who did not wear face masks in public spaces and failed to observe necessary Covid-19 prevention guidelines.
In the wake of the new variant’s outbreak, the District administration is implementing several prevention measures to curb the spread of the new potent variant Omicron in Coimbatore.
