The executives advisory meeting to operate the NTC plants decided to hold protests demanding that the plants are operated.
Coimbatore: The consultation was held at the Coimbatore RV Hotel, urging the NTC to operate its plants, which are owned by the National Cotton Mill Corporation. Sachin, the president of the All India NTC Cotton mill Workers Union and a former minister of state for Maharashtra, Ahad and NTC executives from states including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh participated.
This will be followed by a mass protest today in w ill b e held in front of the Coimbatore South Taluk office with the participation of all NTC Cotton mill workers. Sachin, the president of the All India NTC cotton mill Workers Union and a former minister of state for Maharashtra and Ahad will take the lead. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, NTC union executives from the states are expected to attend the protest by 10 am that held at the South Tahsildar office.
