The Kinathukadavu police have detained a 28-year-old youth who had allegedly been storing liquor for sale without Tamil Nadu government’s approval.
Coimbatore: The Kinathukadavu police have detained a 28-year-old youth who had allegedly been storing liquor for sale without the government’s approval, on Tuesday.
The Kinathukadavu police were patrolling the Elur division on Tuesday. A TASMAC liquor shop is functioning in the area.
During the patrol, the police found liquor kept for sale, without the state government’s authorization and arrested Shyam Sundar, (28) of Kurunthangudi area of Ramanathapuram district.
A total of 12 liquor bottles that were meant for sale, were seized from the accused.
