Coimbatore: Pongal gift package will be distributed at 70 ration shops in Kinathukadavu taluk. Chief Minister MK Stalin today inaugurated a 21-item Pongal gift package in Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu for Pongal.
Accordingly, the work of distributing Pongal gift packages to 33,587 rice family card holders in 70 ration shops in Kinathukadavu taluk area of Coimbatore district is in full swing.
Kinathukadavu West Zone DMK Secretary Mohammad Yasin and Coimbatore District Panchayat Councillor Rajan inaugurated the distribution of Pongal gift packages at the ration shop in Vadaputhur Panchayat.
Vadaputhur Panchayat President Abhinaya Ashok Kumar, Kinathukadavu Panchayat Union Committee Member Ramasamy, Branch Secretary Patharayan, DMK Student Wing Administrator Prabhu and Youth Administrator Vivek were present.
Similarly, a Pongal gift package was distributed at the Chikkalampalayam ration shop in the Solavampalayam Panchayat. Panchayat President Senthilkumar attended the function and presented it to the public.
