Coimbatore: Pongal package goods provided by the Tamil Nadu Government are being dispatched to the ration shops expeditiously from Corporation Civil Supplies Godown in Kinathukadavu.
The Government of Tamil Nadu had announced that a set of 21 items will be provided for ration cardholders in the state as ‘Pongal Package’. The Department of Food Supply and Consumer Protection is in the process of distribution of the package.

The packages are being dispatched to the ration shops under the Kinathukadavu Taluk. The 21 items including raw rice and jaggery stacked at the Civil Supplies Corporation godown in the Kinathukadavu Arasampalayam area are being transported by trucks to the respective ration shops.

The Godown In-charge Karunanidhi, Superintendent Shekhar, Kinathukadavu Taluk Supply Officer Muthu, Mobility In-charge Kathiresan, and Selvaraj are monitoring the works.
The package goods will reach the ration shops by the 2nd of January in areas under Kinathukadavu taluk and the package will be distributed to the public on the days announced by the Government of Tamil Nadu, stated the officers.
