A toll building has been constructed on behalf of the National Highways Authority by occupying land of the water body at Avinashipalayam in South Taluk of Tirupur District.
A complaint was filed with the District Collector of Tirupur and The Divisional Officer of Tirupur in 2018 seeking removal of encroachments in the water bodies at the time the construction of the building was is in progress.
Finally, an order was issued on behalf of Tirupur South Tahsildar seeking removal of the occupied buildings within 15-days in the same year.
