Upon investigation the elderly man reported that he was instigated by some people to carry blue colored water today to the Collectorate. However, none other than him appeared, he said.
Coimbatore: The police on guard at the district collectorate was perplexed after a 60-year-old carries ‘blue-colored’ water, to the collectorate, which was assumed to be kerosene, here on Monday.
Ramasamy, (60) of Veerakeralam reportedly carried ‘blue water’ to the Coimbatore Collectorate in a bottle, which the cops seized assuming it to be kerosene. Police later confirmed during interrogation that it was just water mixed with blue color. The police later questioned the elderly man and released him.
The police further stated that “Some persons have directed Ramasamy to bring the colored water to the Collector’s office, but never turned up in the end. Investigations to find them is underway.”
