High Court Judge S M Subramaniam has ruled that the case against the summons sent by law is not fit for trial and directed the Children's Commission to send fresh summons to Isha again.
Coimbatore: The Chennai High Court has refused to quash the summons issued by the Tamil Nadu Child Rights Protection Commission against Isha Yoga Center, Coimbatore. Isha Center had filed a case in the Court seeking cancellation of the summons.
"The Tamil Nadu Commission for the Protection of the Rights of the Child has the full power to come forward and conduct an inquiry. The summons sent by law is not fit for trial," stated the High Court Judge S M Subramaniam .
The Court also directed the Children's Commission to send fresh summons to Isha again stating the new date and time and directed Isha Yoga Center to reply to the Children's Rights Commission within two weeks of receiving the summons.
"The Tamil Nadu Commission for the Protection of the Rights of the Child has the full power to come forward and conduct an inquiry. The summons sent by law is not fit for trial," stated the High Court Judge S M Subramaniam .
The Court also directed the Children's Commission to send fresh summons to Isha again stating the new date and time and directed Isha Yoga Center to reply to the Children's Rights Commission within two weeks of receiving the summons.
