BJP national leader J P Natta is participating in a BJP executive committee meeting in Tirupur to prepare volunteers for the local body elections.
Coimbatore: BJP national leader J P Natta arrived in Coimbatore on Wednesday to attend a BJP executive committee meeting in Tirupur to prepare volunteers for the local body elections.
He was accompanied by the Union Minister L Murugan.
At the Coimbatore International Airport, BJP national leader J P Natta was enthusiastically welcomed by BJP cadres with flower bouquets along with Vanathi Srinivasan, the BJP MLA of Coimbatore South.
He then travelled to Tirupur by an open vehicle to greet volunteers. J P Natta is attending the BJP executive committee meeting in Tirupur on Wednesday afternoon to discuss the work to be done in the local body elections and to decide on the constituency areas in coalition talks.
Later in the evening, J P Natta will inaugurate newly-constructed party offices in Erode, Tirunelveli and Vaniyambadi through video conferencing. He is also scheduled to attend a public meeting in Tirupur which will be attended by key BJP executives. According to party sources, J P Natta's visit has been timed to prepare volunteers for the local government elections.
