'Only BJP can fill the void left behind by Jayalalitha', says Tamilisai Soundararajan

State President of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tamilisai Soundararajan today was here in the city to meet the parents of Dr. Saravanan in Tirupur, a 26-year-old PG medical student of AIIMS, Delhi, who was found dead under suspicious circumstances in July 2016. The parents have alleged that the truth behind their son's death are yet to be ascertained and hence a CBI probe is necessary.

When speaking to the press she said, “A separate hospital to treat fire accident victims should be established in Virudhunagar as many accidents happen in the fireworks factory that are located in this region. Doubts arise on the manner in which licenses were granted to the firework factories in Virudhunagar district as recently 3 persons died in an accident in a firework industry in Narayanapuram.”

“It is wrong to say that the central government is trying to intimidate the Tamil Nadu government through income tax raids. Those inspections were conducted on the basis of evidence and reports. Corruption is rampant in Tamil Nadu and the central government is in the act of making it right.” she said.

“There is no leader in the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) who can match the stature of their Supremo, J. Jayalalitha. Undoubtedly, a void has been created in Tamil Nadu politics. And, only BJP can fill the void that has been created in Tamil Nadu. BJP is in a good position and presently growing in Tamil Nadu, there is no necessity to subdue the situation and come to power' Tamilisai said.
