Why Mamta should oppose the raid at the former Tamil Nadu chief secretary’s residence and office, Muralidhar Rao, Indian political activist and politician, currently serving as a National General-Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), questioned. It may be noted that the former Tamil Nadu former Chief secretary Rama Mohan Rao's home was on Wednesday raided by officials from the Income Tax department. Muralidhar Rao went on to question that when the Chief Minister of our state and the leader of the opposition party did not have any objection towards these I-T raids, why should Mamta Banerjee of the All India Trinamool Congress have any objection?
The BJP party’s youth wing meeting was hosted in Coimbatore today. Muralidhar Rao who participated in the meeting spoke to the press. It was during this interaction that Muralidhar Rao questioned why Mamta Chief Minister of West Bengal is questioning the I-T raid conducted at the former Tami Nadu chief secretary’s office and residence
He also said that “Those who oppose I-T raids are supporters of black money. The central government is acting in favour of Jallikattu. Legal consultation is now being conducted in this issue” he said.
