Former Congress leader EVKS Ilangovan appears in Tirupur court in defamation case filed by Former AIADMK minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan alleging that he spoke in a manner that disturbed the public peace and incited violence
Coimbatore: In 2016, EVKS Ilangovan campaigned for the Assembly elections on behalf of the Congress Party throughout Tamil Nadu, as part of which he attended an election campaign rally on February 10, 2016 in the Dharapuram area of Tirupur district. Former AIADMK minister Udumalai Radhakrishnan has filed a case in a Tirupur court alleging that he spoke in a manner that disturbed the public peace and incited violence. This defamation case is pending in my Tirupur Magistrate Court. Meanwhile, former Congress leader EVKS Ilangovan appeared in the Tirupur District Court today for the hearing of the case.
