A 55-year-old man died in an accident in Annur Chellampalayam region. The Annur Police captured the body and transferred it for post mortem. Police registered a case However no family members nor acquaintances showed up claiming for the old man. Annur Police head constable Ponmani took the body under her responsibility and performed the necessary rites for the deceased.
