Valparai : The Valparai Police Department met with students of Government Arts and Sciences College in Valparai and elaborated about the crime against women and children and ways to tackle them.
Harassment on children, workplace harassment and dowry issues are highly reported in the country. Valparai Inspector Karpagam stated that such crimes should be reported to the police for further prevention. Sexual harassment can be reported through the SOS app of the Tamil Nadu Government to take up immediate action.

Any crimes against girl children, the public can report by contacting the number 181 (tollfree) and 1098-Child helpline (tollfree).
Valparai Inspector Karpagam, Sub-inspector Karthikeyan, Assistant Professors and students were also present during the event.
