BJP cadres stage protest all over Tamil Nadu to condemn CM's .
Coimbatore: Even as the Tamil Nadu Government imposed strict restrictions ahead of festivals to avoid any spread of Covid-19, all public celebrations of Vinayagar Chaturthi in Tamil Nadu have been banned.
In protest, the BJP Arts and Culture Department sent Vinayagar Chaturthi greeting cards to the Chief Minister M K Stalin. The cards were posted from the Chief Post Office in Coimbatore located behind the Coimbatore Railway Station as part of a state-wide protest condemning the restrictions.
The TN Government has also prohibited placing of Vinayagar statues in public places. Condemning the restrictions, BJP cadres staged a protest all over Tamil Nadu. BJP District Chairman, Murali along with BJP District Deputy Chairman, Prem led the protest in which over a 100 BJP workers attended the event.
