Coimbatore: Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police, S Selvanagarathinam has directed the police to set up a booth at police stations across Coimbatore district for public feedback on whether the police are doing a satisfactory job on complaints registered.
Accordingly, a complaint box has also been placed at the Kinathukadavu police station. The booth will include information on people who visit the police station to lodge a complaint and on the conduct of the police in relation to the case.
Details of whether the work of the police is satisfactory or not on complaints registered can be dropped in the complaint box, which will be opened once a month and all complainants' feedback will be examined under the supervision of SP S Selvanagarathinam.
