Pollachi Government officers Union thank CM for increasing security funds

Security Fund increased to 5 lakhs for families of Government Employees.


Pollachi:In a meeting held at the Government employee Union in Anamalai, Pollachi at the event of inauguration of new taluk branch, Shanmugarajan, State President of Tamil Nadu Government Officers Union thanked the hon’ble chief minister for increasing the security fund for the families of government officers.



Later he spoke to Simplicity, stating, “The previous government had not properly implemented the scheme of making jobs permanent for employees working more than 10 years. The G.O 72 was announced during the DMK reign before 2010. Further, the contributory pension scheme should be abolished and the previous pension scheme should be implemented for all government officials appointed after 2003.

The health insurance scheme should be taken up by the government and Anganwadi employees should be given period payments, Consolidated workers should be initiated periodic pay.”

He further insisted that “The 430 government employees who lost lives in the process of Covid prevention works, their families should be provided the announced financial assistance of ₹.25 lakhs".



He called for immediate payment of surrender leave, the stopped21 months of wage arrears.
