Police insist setting up of CCTVs to avoid crimes in Kinathukadavu region

Rising robberies concern both the public and the Police in the area


Coimbatore: The areas within the limits of Kinathukadavu Police Station is prone to series of robberies and such crimes.

In order to overcome the issue, the Police department insisted the residents and shop owners in the area to install CCTV cameras in their homes, complexes, and jewelry shops.

Superintendent of Police, Selvanagaratnam personally requested the public to take steps to prevent any such crimes in the future. Further, they distributed notices on behalf of the police to create awareness among the shop owners.



It has also been advised to contact the Kinathukadavu Police Station through the number 9498101181 if any suspicious activities or persons were found
