Mujeebur Rahman, 30, a native of Thiruvalluvar Nagar Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore was arrested after investigations, Investigations revealed that the accused had a number of cases charged on him already on robbery, murder, etc.,
The Race Course Police Department arrested Mujeebur Rahman and lodged him in the Central Prison, Coimbatore. The Police had petitioned to charge him under Goondas Act, which the City Commissioner Deepak M Damodar issued orders to proceed. The order was given to him in jail yesterday.
