Coimbatore: A 65-year old woman is said to have been walking near the Kids Park School on the Pollachi-Coimbatore road in Kinathukadavu, Coimbatore district, on Thursday night. An unidentified vehicle reportedly rammed into her leaving her seriously injured which led to her death.
Following the incident, the Kinathukadavu police recovered the body of the woman and sent it to the Pollachi Government Hospital for autopsy. Police are investigating the identity of the elderly woman and her place of residence.
