As a noble gesture, DMK General Body Member, Sampath Kumar donated Rs.15,000 to a student for his third semester college fees in Coimbatore
Coimbatore: Even as colleges and schools reopened on September 1 as per the order of the Government of Tamil Nadu, Sampath Kumar, a member of the Responsible Committee of the DMK Ganapathy Area 46th Circuit, Coimbatore District met a college student who resided in Thiruvika Road of the same area. The youth was accompanied by his mother, Malarvizhi and they explained their financial position. The youth explained that they were struggling to pay the third semester fees and that he could attend college only if the fees were paid. In a noble gesture, Sampath Kumar immediately donated Rs.15,000 from his personal funds to help the youth continue his college studies.
Residents in the area lauded Sampath Kumar for his noble gesture. Dharma of the DMK Student Wing, Jagadish of Youth Wing, Cheran of Literary Wing, Stephen, Kamaraj, Kannayan, Sivakumar, Eeswaran, Satish, RTR Karthi, Sasi, Madesh, Karthi and many others were present.
