Elephant rides and trekking continue to be banned
Pollachi:Aliyar, Monkey falls, Topslip are major tourists attraction in the Tiger Reserve, Pollachi.
Public was banned from visiting the places due to the pandemic. Relaxations were announced in parts with the cases going down in several areas in and around Coimbatore.
However, areas susceptible to huge crowds, like Monkey falls, Topslip, etc, remained shut.
The above places were opened today and tourists gathered in huge numbers. They were all advised to follow proper safety protocols.
