The aggrieved community then lodged a complaint with the Tirupur District Collector's Office alleging an argument between the two parties. More than 50 underprivileged people from Madhapur, led by Panneer Selvam, the state leader of the Samooga Neethi katchi rallied at the Palladam Kosavampalayam road section, demanding immediate action by the Revenue Department and the police to take action against another party protesting against the construction of the cemetery.
