Pollachi abuzz with students thronging schools and colleges after a long period of time owing to Covid-19 lockdown.
Coimbatore: Students in Pollachi were overjoyed to finally step out of their homes and into their school campuses to resume physicalclasses.
The Tamil Nadu Government had announced that all schools in Tamil Nadu will resume classes for grades 9, 10, 11 and 12 from September 1 onward.
Students in Pollachi schools were sent to class after having their body temperature checked and ensuring that strict social distancing and sanitising of hands were adhered to, at the entrance of school campuses.
All students had to compulsorily wear masks.
Even though classes were online, students felt the pressure of not being able to grasp subjects easily. Students are hopeful that they will be now be able to score higher marks in Class X and XII, due to physical classes now. Students were delighted at being able to meet their friends once again.
