Coimbatore: The Tamil Nadu Sanitary Workers Welfare Association submitted a petition today at the Coimbatore district Office.
The petition requested periodic wages to the consolidated workers, those appointed additionally on the basis of population in Coimbatore District Village Panchayats as stipulated in G.O.Ms.No.385.
They also requested to initiate steps to pay special periodic wages of Rs.6094 to the consolidated wage workers who have completed 3 years of service.
The Tamil Nadu Sanitary Workers Welfare Association stated the petitions were being submitted to the respective District Collectors.
