Cleaning work is in full swing in schools which were the coronavirus care centers in Tirupur as it is announced to reopen schools on September 1
Coimbatore: Schools and colleges in Tamil Nadu have been closed for the past one and a half years due to the spread of coronavirus. Lessons are conducted online for the students and the examinations are also conducted online. Due to the declining coronavirus infection in Tamil Nadu, the Government of Tamil Nadu has ordered the opening of schools with guidelines and announced that the schools will be reopened from September 1stfor 9th to the 12th classes alone.
Students are advised to come to school on a rotational basis. In this regard, teachers are taking all security measures to open government schools in Tirupur district. Coronavirus care centers have been removed from Jaivabai Girls' High School, Palaniammal High School, Sikkanna Government College and Anupparpalayam Government High School. Work is underway to relocate beds and medical equipment.
In particular, 36 classrooms were used as the Coronavirus Care Center was set up at Jaivabai Girls High School. All of those classrooms are currently being cleaned. More than 100 beds have been removed and classrooms are being disinfected.
