The Indian Bank has been organizing camps across the country to support SMEs as Pandemic put a hold on their businesses
Coimbatore:A special camp for providing loans to SMEs was conducted at a Hotel in the Variety Hall road today in Coimbatore.
“The Indian Bank has facilitated ₹.110 crore loan to SMEs in a single day”, stated an Indian Bank official.
A loan camp for SMEs and commercial enterprises were held on behalf of The Indian Bank.
Sudhakara Rao, General Manager, Corporate Office, Credit Division, Small, Micro, and Medium Enterprises, Chennai said, “The Government of India has announced and implemented various schemes to assist the industries. Funds have also been allocated for this purpose.”
A loan of Rs.110 crore has been facilitatedthrough camps in eight zones viz., Coimbatore, Madurai, Krishnagiri, Trichy, Salem, Tirunelveli, Kumbakonam and Karaikudi.
Apart from this, a loan of Rs.48 crore has been provided to commercial establishments.
Assistant Regional Manager Vijay Kumar, General Manager of Commerce Ganesh Raman, Kodisiya President Ramesh Babu, Regional Manager Subramanian, and others participated in the event.
