Coimbatore: Severe uproar happened in Annur when a farmer was alleged of Caste discrimination when a video was released a few days before that showed the dalit assistant VAO falling at the feet of a farmer.

The locals went on a protest demanding the arrest of the VAO and the assistant. After proper interrogations, the VAO, and the assistant were arrested yesterdayby the Annur Police Department. They were released under bail later.
