Over 2800 resolutions uploaded in Coimbatore Corporation website

The resolutions data dated from 2017 have been uploaded to the Corporation website.

Coimbatore: Social activist Thyagarajan had earlier filed a case in the High Court demanding that resolutions should be uploaded on the Corporation website.

The case is pending, but out of more than 10000 resolutions, 2886 were uploaded on the Corporation website on Friday. The resolutions from the month of July 2017 are pending for uploading.

A plea was made last June to the Coimbatore Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer, Raj Gopal Sunkara by activist Thyagarajan to upload the resolutions as the Court did not impose any stay order.

Following that, 2886 resolutions were uploaded, starting this June. On the other hand, another case was filed on behalf of the contractors to not be uploaded, which is pending as well.
