Police have arrested three men for having stolen two-wheelers at R S Puram and Thudiyalur in Coimbatore and in Ooty, Nilgiris district.

Sub-Inspector Rajendran along with other police officials, led by Kattoor Crime Branch Inspector Shanthi conducted an intensive investigation following the frequent thefts of two-wheelers in Coimbatore.
The three men were caught stealing a scooter on Crosscut Road and have been identified as Vijay Daniel (35) of Ooty, Sathish (40) of Thudiyalur and Rakesh (23). The police recovered two motorcycles and two scooters based on the information given by the arrested men. Vijay Daniel had already been arrested and sent to jail in a two-wheeler theft case, earlier. All the three men who were arrested were produced in court and remanded in custody.
