TNEB begins construction of high-pressure power lines to combat frequent power outages in Valparai
Valparai: Frequent power outages has caused immense disruption in the regular routines of companies and households in Valparai town. Over 1000 shops and 3000 habitations were affected.
Upon people’s request, the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has taken up the construction of a new high-pressure power line and towers to provide a solution to the frequent power outages. In line with this, erecting new electric poles are in progress to construct a high-tension power line from underground. As part of this initiative, more than 10 employees of Valparai Electricity Board are actively engaged in erecting concrete poles at Annanagar Central Hill Road in Valparai.
