The 15 km long roads that connect Sholayar estate and Sangili road estate is in disrepair for months in the Valparai area. The public have requested to lay the unfinished roads which were started way back during the reign of AIADMK.
The public state that the works are put on hold as the government changed.
Valparai has around 60 estates and the facilities have been made for running buses as well.
The uneven roads cause traffic and most importantly it has become difficult if the ambulances have to go.
'The potholes have been causing fatal accidents especially during the night as they are merely visible while driving.' state the residents.
They have put forth a proposal to lay proper roads to avoid such fatal incidents.
