As part of the vaccination drive, general public, industrialists, foremen, civil servants, the differently-abled and traders were vaccinated. "There are over 40,000 differently-abled people in Coimbatore district. More than 20,000 of them are over 18 years old.
Of these, 9,500 have been vaccinated against Covid-19 through special camps. They are vaccinated according to their doctor's advice, prior to vaccination. Soon, all the differently-abled people over the age of 18 years will be vaccinated," stated a district administrative official.
