A special meeting of the Udumalai Panchayat Union Committee was held regarding the allocation of funds for the 15th Grant Committee.
Tirupur: Udumalaipettai Panchayat Union is the largest Panchayat Union in Tirupur district with 26 Panchayat Union wards. A special meeting of the Udumalai Panchayat Union was held on Tuesday.
About Rs. 1.78 crores has been allocated after discussions were held regarding the allocation of funds for the 15th Grant Committee. The meeting was attended by many including Panchayat Union Councilors, District Councilors and Regional Development Officers and Union Engineers. The meeting was chaired by the Panchayat Union President, Mahalakshmi Murugan and attended by the Vice-President Shanmugavadivel.
