Coimbatore: A 3-year-old girl has mysteriously died at a tribal quarters near Pollachi following which the parents were questioned.
Manikandan (22) and his wife Sarojini (20) are a laborer from the Kallanguttu hill station near Thampathi near Pollachi. As their child was unwell the parents and neighbours took the child to Pudur Government Hospital. The baby died on the way to the hospital, the doctors of the government hospital informed the Anaimalai police as theywere suspicions about the baby's death.

Following this, the Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police led by Selva Nagarathnam rushed to the spot. The child's mother Sarojini and relatives were investigated at the scene.
It was alleged that the death of the child was suspected as they answered contradictorily. Following this, the Anaimalai Police have registered a case and are conducting an investigation on the complaint lodged by the child's father Manikandan.
