Inebriated young man who parked his car at the bridge near Kinathukadavu hauled over by the police at midnight
Coimbatore: The Coimbatore District Superintendent of Police, S Selvanagarathinam was on patrol from Coimbatore to Pollachi at midnight when he spotted a car parked at the bridge in Kinathukadavu.
He found an inebriated youth in the car and informed the Kinathukadavu police station.
Later, Kinathukadavu Sub-Inspector of Police, Sundaramoorthy arrived at the scene and took the youth in his car and interrogated him. The youth was charged under the Motor Vehicle Act for driving under the influence of alcohol. Later, the police confiscated the car and parked it at the Kinathukadavu police station. Kinathukadavu police are investigating the matter.
