College student grievously injured in an acciddent involving 2 two wheelers on Kinathukadavu RS Road.
Coimbatore: Mahendran (39) a labourer from Lakshmi Nagar near Kinathukadavu in Coimbatore district was travelling in his two-wheeler with his daughter Akshaya (9) and son Madan (5) from Lakshmi Nagar to Kinathukadavu on August 12.
Another two wheeler which came speeding from behind Mahendran's two-wheeler rammed into the rear of his two-wheeler, leaving him anad his children slightly injured. The youth is reported to have been seriously injured in the accident due to the impact of the collision.
Passers-by immediately rushed Mahendran and his children to a private hospital in Pollachi for treatment. On returning home after treatment, Mahendran lodged a complaint on Moday against the youth who had caused the accident. After police investigation, the youth was identified as Hariharan (18) of Vinayagar Kovil Street, Cheriipalayam, near Kinathukadavu who is a first-year student at a private college in Eachanari.
Hariharan is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital in Coimbatore, while the Kinathukadavu police have registered a case and are investigating the accident.
