Coimbatore: Newly-appointed Inspector Karpagam at Valparai, Coimbatore District police station, has put up posters for public to easily contact the officers at the police station and to identify which officer to contact for a which kind of cases. Police have posted a photo and banner of their phone numbers at various places in Valparai asking who to contact for public issues.
Banners have been put up at places like Valparai Police Station, Post Office, Bus Stand and Hospital to make it easier for the police to help the public. This has paved the way for helping the public to immediately contact police and help to reduce and monitor crime.
