Relative who sexually harassed a minor girl was arrested in city's Peelamedu area under POCSO Act
Coimbatore: Police have arrested the cousin of a 14-year old girl living in Peelamedu, in Coimbatore for sexually harassing her.
'A 14-year old girl from Peelamedu area in Coimbatore had been sexually harassed by her cousin Subramanian (39) for the past few days. The girl informed her parents about the harassment and based on their complaint, the All Women Police Station (East) Police registered a case under the POCSO Act and arrested Subramaniam,' stated police officials.
