Coimbatore: Assistant Revenue Officers under Coimbatore 5-Zones have been transferred all of a sudden. Over the last few months in Coimbatore there have been constant transfers of Deputy Commissioners to Assistant Revenue Officers who may have been working under the Corporation. The Assistant Revenue Officers under Coimbatore 5-Zones were abruptly transferred at midnight Monday.
Supervisors were appointed in their place. Kirubakaran was appointed for the East Zone, Satya Prabha for the South Zone, Zulfikar Ahmed for the North Zone, Rajendran for the West Zone and Senthilkumar for the Central Zone. Those who had already served as assistant revenue officers were appointed as supervisors for the different zones.
Corporation Commissioner Rajagopal has directed the Assistant Revenue Officers to hand over the pending files and records in full to the newly appointed officers.
