MLA accompanies an elderly woman to ration shop in Tirupur to initiate prompt action against irregularites that had been meted out to the woman.
Tirupur: Tirupur South Assembly member, Selvaraj, inspected the construction work of additional classrooms at the Corporation School in Tirupur KVR Nagar area.

En route, an elderly woman Kanniyammal stopped the MLA's car and complained that rations were not being distributed at the ration shop in KVR Nagar area of Tirupur and that the ration shop staff had abused her when she had questioned them on the irregularities.
The MLA immediately took the elderly woman in his car, went to the ration store and reprimanded the store officers and vendors.

He ordered items to be delivered promptly and systematically, and reiterated that the public should be treated with respect. He warned the store staff that he would complain to the higher authorities if these basic processes were not followed.
The MLA then bought necessary items for Kanniyammal from the store, offered his own money as a stipend and asked her to call him for any support. On-lookers in the area lauded the MLA for his noble and prompt action.
